To liven up its holiday cards this year, CSE Insurance Group ran a contest in which the children and grandchildren of its agents submitted artwork. The card illustration contest “enabled us to involve our agent force on a fun level. What parent or grandparent doesn’t enjoy bragging on their children or grandchildren? Second, kids often have a better grasp on what the holidays are about than we do! It’s good to see this time of year through their eyes,” said Vice President of Market Strategy and Business Development Matt Hull.
The contest guidelines were minimal: keep the design on the general side, and let creativity run wild.

Failed on an essay or exam can be tolerated, but failed on our thesis is a fatal thing. Thesis is the determiner of our entire efforts during our college. It will affect our grade and determine whether we can grab our bachelor or master degree or not. Therefore, no wonder if many students are focusing their entire time to work on their thesis. If we want to get an excellent grade on our thesis, then not only we have to focus on this task, but also ask for a guide form the professional.
This task is once in a lifetime task and none of us wants to redo our thesis composing or test because it means we failed on it.

California Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner has approved filings by the Automobile Club of Southern California and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance to offer pay-as-you-drive insurance.
The PAYD Insurance program will allow insurers to offer plans based on a verified and more accurate mileage, so that people who choose to drive less will pay less for auto insurance.
“We implemented a verified mileage program because we expect that it will provide more accurate, lower rates to policyholders who choose to participate in the program,” said Christopher Baggaley, senior vice president of insurance operations for Auto Club.
“Drive Safe & Save” will help us better match price to risk and that’s a good thing,” said Tom Conley, State Farm Agency vice president.

My client’s home has been sinking. She submitted a claim to her homeowner’s insurance company which sent out a geotechnical engineer and geologist to investigate the claim. The engineer and geologist concluded that the home was sinking because of the “high organic content” in the soil, and was not due to any sinkhole activity.
Contrary to the engineer’s and geologist’s conclusion, their actual tests results indicated that the sinking home was indeed due to sinkhole activity. I filed a lawsuit against the insurer for breach of contract.
I spent the day today taking the deposition of the insurance company’s geologist. The case is currently set for trial in April.
As with many of my insurance cases, if we win, the insurance company has to pay all of my fees and costs, and if we lose, I’ll work for free. There are no out of pocket fees or costs for my client.

If you have a commercial property that you need to insure it used to be a case of giving the insurance company the details and then having to wait while they manually work out the quote before coming back to you with a figure, but this is no longer the case as there are insurance companies that are now starting to give instant figures for this type of insurance which cuts out the waiting part of it.
There are various types of commercial properties that you can insure and you can also insure properties that are part commercial and part residential under this policy (for example a shop with a flat above where the owner wants to insure both on the one policy).
